E. Schiller Print - - A print of an antique painting. By Austrian artist Egon Schiller (1890 - 1918). Depicting a kneeling slender figure, with dark hair cascading down her back. Egon entered the Vienna Academy at age 16, and in 1908 had the fortune to meet acclaimed artist Gustav Klimt, who became a huge influence of the young artist. He developed an extraordinary quick drawing ability, with a particular intrest in the human in the nude form. Sadly Egon was at the peak of his artistic prowess when he died at a mere 28. Framed in a simplistic black frame, behind non reflective glass. Printed signature and date. Condition : Used, good. Dim : 72cm (H) x 53cm (W)
