Pair Antique Chairs - - A pair of antique Victorian-style nursing chairs, circa late 19th century. Display a carved dark hardwood structure, with turned legs and finely detailed spindles on the backrest. There's also a carved medallion in the center of the top stretcher on the back of each chair. The fabric features a damask pattern with floral motifs in a muted gold tone on a greenish-beige background. This kind of upholstery was popular in the 19th century for its elegance and durability.
