Sculptures - - A wonderful collection of Bronze & Brass ornamental deities. The first bronze depicts a Buddha in a seated meditation posture, with stylized hair in tight curls culminating in a ushnisha (topknot) symbolizing enlightenment. The right hand raised in the Abhaya Mudra a gesture of fearlessness and protection. The 2nd crafted from brass depicts a multi armed deity, seated in a lotus position with an ornate headdress. Each of the deity’s arms holds a symbolic object or is positioned in a symbolic gesture (Mudra). The 3rd is a 2 part bronze of a pair of figures in a traditional Indian dance pose, representing a divine or mythological scene. Their arms raised above their heads, whilst their legs are positioned in a dynamic symmetrical stance suggesting movement. Highly reminiscent of the Hindu deities Radha & Krishna. I think you will agree that this trio of ornaments will add a touch of Asian charm and elegance to your home decor. Weight : bronze 1.71kg + 0.76kg = 2,47 kg, brass 1.23kg. Condition : Used, good.
