Antique Hat Block - - A rare antique wood hat block circa (1930 to (1950). This puzzle block is used by milliners (hat makers) to shape hats by stretching and moulding fabrics like felt, straw and other materials. The unusual shape of this block makes it very unique and collectible. Still used by custom costume makers, milliners and for display or decorative purposes. Condition: Used: signs of age and wear with scratches, cracks and old glue visible. Dim: 6(H) x 18(W) cm.
