Cauny Watch - - A vintage wrist watch, Model Calendario. Made by the Swiss brand Cauny, founded in 1927 in La Chaux - de - Fonds. Famously referred to as the Watch making capital of the world. A mechanical movement using 17jewels. Featuring a champagne gold tone dial, with applied hands. A date window at the 3 o clock position, and a seconds sundial above the 6 o clock position. Fitted with a chocolate brown leather strap, with a distinctive buttoned flap design. Circa : 1950’s - 1970’s. Condition : Used, wear to the strap, glass face with scratches and damage, winds up ticks but does not keep good time, requires service, overall fair.
