Chinese Vase - - A beautiful mid century Chinese Vase, with a design heavily influenced by the Qing Yongzheng era. The upper rim boasts a decorative heart or ruyi motif border in pastel colours. The main body has a wonderful bulbous shape, with a cobalt blue background decorated with floral and bird motifs, whilst the lower border shows a Greek key pattern or meander, which in Chinese art symbolises infinity or continuity. This superb vase is finished off beautifully with distinctive handles depicting deer heads, which fit seamlessly into the overall design. Stamped to the bottom with the makers mark. Origin : Hong Kong. Circa : 1950 - 1970’s. Condition : Used, good. Dim : 36cm (H)
