Thailandese Door - - A Magnificent, Thailandese solid wood door in frame, circa late 20th century. The elaborate carvings in this unique piece are a beautiful example of traditional Asian craftsmanship. Featuring a frame and arch which are richly detailed with floral and foliage patterns handcarved in deep relief. It displays a layered top with floral hollow carvings. The doors themselves are relatively simple in contrast with the frame, with studded accents and circular metal handles, allowing the frame's decorative work to stand out. Such doors often symbolize protection and prosperity and are crafted not just for utility, but as expressions of artistry and spiritual symbolism. Condition: Used/ very good, oiled in May 2025, some minor chips to the wood of the frame as seen on the last picture. Dim: 174(L)x15(D)x275(H) cm.
