Falleba para puerta. Spain, Lucas Martín 1670
A one-piece iron falleba for a door or gate. Decorated in the centre with a quadrangular piece bearing an inscription with the date of the work, and perhaps the owner or recipient, or perhaps the maker of this iron work: ‘1670 / DE LVCAS / MARTIN’.
The originality of this work lies not only in its patina, beauty and play of curves, but also in its inscription or signature and dating.
