Chavin frére Ainé á Morez (France) 19th century - Wall clock. With a gilt-plate wall case, this is a clear example of a late 19th-century French domestic clock. It has a porcelain dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and the inscription ‘Chavin frére Ainé / á Morez’. This clock has the particularity of including an alarm clock in its mechanism. It is finished off with a decoration depicting a gallant scene. It still has its original pendulum and weights. One of its two side doors is missing, specifically the left one.
