It is an original work by the German sculptor Otto Petri (Berlin 1860-1942), who worked during the period known as Jugendstil or German Modernism. Under the base, there is a mark in gilt bas-relief for the house and main destinations for which he worked: ‘FRIEDRICH GOLDSCHEIDER / PARIS sculptur LEIPZIG / WIEN’. Signed on the base: ‘Petri’.
