Anonymous British c. 1900 - Anonymous British c. 1900 - Textil. Textile, possibly a bedspread or sofa cover, made of maroon satin and silk. It is made by joining four pieces of the same textile pattern, three of them approximately 55 cm wide and another 26 cm wide. These four pieces of textile are basted together along their longest sides. The whole piece is edged with a textile border with colored tassels, which may have been added after the piece was made. In good condition. Measurements: approximately 221 x 198 cm. Provenance: East Sussex, United Kingdom.
