Anonymous Spanish, 19th century - Elizabethan chest of drawers - Elizabethan-style chest of drawers made in Spain during the 19th century. Made from fine woods such as mahogany palm and lemongrass, it is decorated with marquetry depicting exotic birds, palm leaves and other plant motifs. The front is outlined by a helical column on each side. Hardware and key. Two large doors, with minor damage due to lack of humidity, protect three drawers inside the piece.
