Chasuble. Spain, 16th century - Red velvet chasuble with matching bands across the chest and back, featuring embroidered medallions depicting religious figures. A 16th-century Spanish piece. On the chest, the upper tondo depicts Saint John the Evangelist and the lower one Saint James the Greater; on the back, from top to bottom, the Virgin and Child, Saint Peter and Saint John the Baptist. In very good condition
