Lot of three 19th century wooden sculptures, Yao culture, Thailand - Lot of three antique 19th century wooden sculptures, Yao culture, Thailand. Partially polychromed, one depicting a figure with a staff sitting on a chair, two figures sitting on an animal. The two largest sculptures have a small door at the back, one with Chinese characters (translated 'Here the woodcarver's name is Chou Fah, the figure represents the 8th God of the Yao pantheon: Fang Tien Tah Wang, made for the Chiao Foo Chai family in the 11th year of Emperor Tung Che of the Ching dynasty').
