Staphorster bag with silver clasp, fa. Jonker, Meppel (1890-1924) - An antique 19th-century Staphorster bag with a driven silver clasp and skirt hook of second standard (835/1000). The skirt hook is marked '*DR*' = J.C. van der Ree, Schoonhoven/Klaaswaal, active from 1907 to 1925. The bag clasp itself is marked 'J2' = Fa. gebroeders Jonker, active in Meppel from 1890 to 1924.
