Antique Frisian gold so-called ”oorijzer”, Adama Leeuwarden, 1869 - An antique 19th-century yellow gold so-called ”oorijzer”, ca. 1870, with two 14-carat (585/1000) yellow gold knobs. Knobs are filigree decorated. Hallmarked with standing lion 2 and unclear maker's mark ‘HA’, possibly Fa. H. Adama (M.J. Nolet), active until 1893, date letter K (1869). In oorijzer box, with undercaps and lace cap. Condition: Generally good condition, with minute dents and signs of use. Weight: 123 gram.
