Chinese, 18th cent. ”Robin egg” glaze Meiping vase. - an outstanding, antique chinese, 18th cent. ”robin egg” glaze Meiping vase. The glaze is thick, the body very heavy, the top of the vase has a lite creamy brown glaze, at the base, inside the base ring, a thick creamy crackled glaze, typical of the period. it seems as if the unglazed ring of the base itself was slightly treated to secure stability. all in all in wonderful condition. size 23x12 cm
