This 3 lovely, rare condition hats are from the southern part of china, probably Yao and Miao minorities, were vastly influenced by Chinese culture.
Such hats were the property of rich, local gentry, were served as status symbols and word of the evil spirits.
hat 1 embroider with beads and silver thread. the embroidery depicting phoenix.
hat 2 embroider with low silver, embossed 13 guardians and at the rim, a line of silver caps. at the back silver butterfly, flower and a bell (one bell is missing).
hat 3 has fine embroidery of geometric design, at the top a low silver double phoenix and flowers ornament.
