Silver ”Tas” for a Torah Book - Europe - Old European Tas for a Torah book. Hammered, sealed and etched Silver (hallmarked). Tas in the shape of an Aspidistra. On its center a seven arm Menorah, supported by two roaring lions situated on decorations. The Tas's lower part has a small window for changing plates. The top of the Tas has a crown on its back three slipknots and a chain for suspending. There are known to be similar Tases created in the city of Vienna during the end of the 19th century. Height: 26 cm, width: 20 cm. Weight: 340 grams. Good\very good condition. Without changing plates.
