Rare Esther Scroll. Basel, 1806 - A Book of Esther prined on paper in the shape of a scroll. Basel, Wilhelm Haas Print, 1806. Includes the scroll's blessings in the beginning and in the end. The beginning of the scroll has two copper engravings of scenes from the book. All pages are decorated with a frame with straight lines. The scroll is printed in 17 columns - numbered pages, and two more unnumbered blessing pages. Each column is about 18 cm wide, all four columns are printed on a paper sheet about 72 cm in length. All paper sheets are glued to each other. This forms a scroll over three meters in length. The scroll height is about 23 cm. Good general condition, glued tear to the first and second pages, as well as a small lack of a low painting on the first page and on the 4 bottom lines, completed with handwriting.
