Silver ”Tas” for a Torah Book - Europe - Tas for a Torah book. (Europe, end of 19th century?). Hammered, sealed and etched Silver (hallmarked). Tas in the shape of an Aspidistra. On its upper part The Tablets of Stone, on its center two lions with wings. Under the lion there's a Hebrew inscription about the contents (Torah Crown, seven arm Menorah). Gildening leftovers. 2 slipknot suspenders on the sides of the Tas. Height: 39 cm, width: 30 cm.  Very good condition, age marks. High silver, tested. Weight: 508 grams.
