The Legend of Saint George & the Dragon - Austria / Germany Silver Sculpture, 18th\19th Century
Goth sculpture in a church turret-like model, on the head of the turret a stork nest with a stork feeding its youngs inside it. In the center a scene of Saint George fighting the Dragon. On his right hand he is holding his sword with which he slays the dragon, and his left hand is holding a kinetic shield, moveable.
The structure stands on top of 6 lion-like legs.
Austria\Germany, end of 18th\beginning of 19th century.
Hallmarked 13 Silver, and in addition the artisan and city hallmarks (abrased and difficult to decipher).

Good\very good condition, age marks. An amazing item rich with patina in the spirit of the period.
