A fine gilt silver headpiece - Uzbekistan - 1880-1900 - The ornament is set with turquoise and coloured stones. Inset in center with a 20 Ruble Russian coin 1910. Cylindrical and circular elements surround the hexagonal shaped body. Tassels with corals and gilt silver elements hang down from the main body. Some peeling to the silver. Some stones missing. the item is gilded, punched, and soldered. dimensions: 13*13 cm diameter of corals: 2-3 mm gross weight: 315 grams (seems to be some type of filling inside)
