A fine gilt silver headpiece - Uzbekistan - 1880-1900 - The ornament is set with turquoise (some missing) and colored stones. Inset in center with a dome-shaped element decorated with flowers in a vase. Cylindrical and circular elements surround the hexagonal shaped body. Tassels with corals and gilt silver elements hang down from the main body. Some peeling to the silver. Some stones missing. the item is gilded, punched, and soldered. dimensions: 13*13 cm diameter of corals: 7.5-3 mm gross weight: 280 grams (seems to be some type of filling inside)
