A silver and coral impressive lazem necklace - Yemen 1900 - The necklace is comprised of three hollow elements decorated with filigree and granulation and connected with eight rows of silver beads and corals (5-12 mm). The two on the sides are triangular and hold the treads on which the necklace is beaded. The element in center is rectangular, inset with coral and decorated with ball-shaped pendants. It holds a hirz pendant decorated with filigree and granulation and a teardrop-shaped pendant decorated with filigree and granulation and small pendants. The two large pendants and the lower beads row are decorated with various pendants in teardrop design decorated with filigree and granulation and ball-shaped pendants. cut, soldered, granulated, cast length: 37 cm weight: 845 grams
