An impressive and rare silver belt of Jewish bride - Habban, Yemen - 1900 - The large belt is comprised of 13 silver rectangular plaques, decorated with granulation and woven into a red textile. Some of the plaques are set with faceted red glass. A woven silver rope decorated with silver bells on its ends connects the belt with amulet pendants decorated with coins and silver chains with red beads ending with bell pendants.
