A pair of 14K Gold temple pendants - Uzbekistan / Bukhara - end of 19th century - early 20th century - A pair of temple pendants used for decorating a headdress, in a similar design but with minor changes. each pendant is made of a pair of tubular elements closed on each end and connected together with filigree. The pendants are decorated in fine hammer work and inset with turquoise at the top. on the bottom, a row of pendants decorated with coral and Bahrain pearls, and pendants inset with faceted teardrop-shaped red stones. A metal hanger used to hang the pendant on a headdress connects to each pendant with gold chains and hold additional chains ending with gold pendants and a pendant inset with faceted teardrop-shaped red stone.
