A pair of 21K Gold temple pendants - Uzbekistan / Bukhara - 18th-19th century - A pair of temple pendants used for decorating a headdress. Each pendant is made of a central element inset with turquoise in rosette design with a raised element in center. on each side are four strands decorated with Bahrain pearls, granulation beads, a read tourmaline or a green emerald bead and ends with a leaf-shaped pendant inset with turquoise and Bahrain pearls pendants. underneath the central element are two hoops decorated with Bahrain pearl pendants (loss). The central element is decorated on the reverse with fine repoussé work. on its top connects a twisted metal hanger. minor damage on the reverse where the hanger connects to one of the pendants typical of the age of the item.
