A quality small gilt silver Tumar amulet with a matching necklace - Turkestan 1870-1920 - Upper part shaped in organic design, inset with four carnelian cabochons and decorated with gilding. The lower part consists of the amulet box which opens on one end, inset with three carnelian cabochons and decorated with a row of chains ending with ball-shaped bells. A matching necklace made of gilt silver links inset with carnelian and connected with chains. cut, pierced, gilded, soldered, engraved, wrought.
