A ceremonial fabric and silver headdress - Turkestan - late 19th century - Composed of a woven fabric embroidered with silver plaques embossed in organic design. A central dome-shaped element embossed in a geometric design with a rod in the centre followed by a few beads on a string. A short tassel ending with small white beads at the back.
