John Wilding 'Scissors' Skeleton Clock w/ Glass Dome (Sussex, England), Beginning of 20th c - English 'Scissors' clock made of brass with a bare skeleton movement, the clock is as its name, designed as scissors, from the body of the clock, through the hinges, built as large scissors, and up to the half hour mark, the pendulums and even the key are shaped as scissors. A glass dome is mounted on top of the clock, covering it. Ring-shaped enamel face with Roman numerals, inscription of the maker on the face. Height including glass dome: 64 cm.
