Refreshments Bowl, Silver & Glass, Europe, circa 1840 - Antique special refreshments bowl, Europe, first half of 19th century. Base with orbed legs made of silver (tested) designed in the shape of a winged lion, battling a snake and holding it between its legs. Pink elliptical-shaped glass bowl connected by a central bolt to the lion's back and supported on the sides by handles. Engraved dedication on the base from 1840. Good condition, age marks, loose connections.  Height: 19 cm. Width including handles: 22 cm.
