Mario Buccellati - Fancy Silver Box. 20th c - Fancy silver cigar box made by Mario Buccellati, mid 20th century. Rectangular body with a hinged lid. The lid is decorated with engraving depicting a canal in Venice and bearing the inscription ”Venezia - Il Canal Grande a s. Angelo Verso Rialto”. Full hallmarks, (Sterling Silver) artisan mark (inside). The interior of the lid bears an engraved dedication in German. Very good condition. Dimensions: 20X13X3 cm. Weight: 630 grams.
