Very Rare! Silver Kettle w/ Painted Porcelain. Augsburg, 17th\18th c - Very Rare! Augsburg, 17th\18th century. Gilded silver kettle, decorated with burning and hammering. Body integrated with porcelain hoops with a hand painting of riding and hunting scenes. Painted porcelain plaque decorates the lid as well. The spout is decorated with the figure of a mythological animal and an animal head in its end. some paint repairs. Marked (on lid and base) with the City Mark, ”Zig Zag” stripe (silver quality test) and the maker's mark ”EA”. Height: 23 cm. Weight: 1003 grams.
