”Kandil” -Shabbat Candle for Women – Morocco - ”Kandil” was a commemorative menorah for women, differentiated from the Synagogue Menorah designated for men. The ”Kandil” used to be lit in commemoration of the deceased woman in her home during the first year to her passing, and in year's end the ”Kandil” would be given to the synagogue. Brass menorah, hammered and minted, upper part designed as a thicket, and decorated with birds. Menorah on top of a Menorah, one suspended on the other using an integral hook.
