Japanese Inro Made in Multi-Layererd Lacquering on Wood, Figure of Mythological Animal Kirin, Edo Period, 18th-19th century - Fine Inro partitioned into three compartments made in multi-layered lacquering integrated with several techniques with black lacquer and lacquer integrated with gold alloy on a brown lacquer base, depicting the mythological animal Kirin in a dynamic pose, its largest horn decorated with gold alloy lacquer and protrudes off the center of its head, its tail and legs are decorated with flames going through the Inro's length, the other side has decorations in models of clouds and waves, accompanied by an Ogyma bead made of silver and gemstones, Edo Period (1603-1868).
