Fine Japanese Okimono, Figure of Japanese Vagabond, Meiji Period (1868-1912) - End of 19th century, Marked - The Okimono is finely carved in organic material depicting in dynamic pose the figure of a vagabond, holding a stick in his right hand and a pitcher tied by rope in his left hand, wearing a Kimono decorated with hand paintings executed by engraving with delicate blackening filling and a Manju pouch tied to the Netsuke carried on its belt, there may be a missing piece to the end of the stick, markd on base.
