The Madonna & Child - Antique Russian Icon (1822) w/ Fancy Oklad - The Madonna and Child - antique Russian icon from 1822 (bears full marks on the Oklad). Oil on board coated in a gilded Oklad made of 84 Silver decorated with fine embossing, engraving and sawing. In addition, the Madonna's veil is decorated with pearls laced in different sizes (lacks several stones). The icon is well-preserved for its age.
