Out of a desire to give the due respect to each field - in general, and each item - in particular: the sale was divided into two. In the first part, items of historical art and collectibles from the Far East, and from the countries of Islam are presented for sale. And above all: ethnic jewelry at a museum level.

A Rare Islamic Necklet w/ Silver Amulet Case Decorated w/ Filigree Integrated w/ Various Stones - Dagestan, 19th Century
An impressive necklet consisting of a necklace of silver beads decorated with filigree suspending an amulet case, which is also decorated with finely crafted filigree in a floral pattern and inlaid with red glass and Turquoises. Also, it is decorated with strands and its reverse is decorated with niello.
Made in Dagestan (a region in the Caucasus that was under the Russian Empire), 19th century.
A fine necklet and well-preserved for its age, except for a lack of some of the stones.
Length: 70 cm, dimensions of the pendant (not including the strands): 7.5X7.5 cm
