Old netsuke carved in the image of the deity Daikokoku with a Karako child, Japan - Daikoku, thedeity of wealth and one of the seven deities of fortune, is seated, kneeling on his left knee, with a child playing beside him. Both are dressed in engraved robes with a joyful expression on their faces. The netsuke features honey-coloured patina, typical wear, and some fractures. Dimensions: 3.5 cm tall.
