Carved netsuke of a Shishi dog, 18th century - Edo period - An early netsuke carved as a Shishi dog holding a ball in its front paws and another ball in its mouth, carved with delicate openwork. Features two asymmetrical himotoshi holes, one on the side and the other on the base. Dimensions: 3.5 cm tall.
