Wooden statue from Chinese mythology, late 19th - early 20th century - A wooden statue in two parts depicting two figures from Chinese mythology: Shau Lu (one of the 8 Taoist immortals) and a female heavenly deity. Type of wood: Huang Mu hardwood. The base is carved in an organic style. Dimensions: 38-25 cm (both parts combined). Small missing piece from her scarf.
