Massive 14K Gold Box Bearing the 'Faberge' Mark - Fine, impressive and massive box made of 14K Yellow Gold (acid tested by the auction house and bears the mark '56'), designed in the Imperial Russian style: In its center there is a medallion set with Old Mine Cut diamonds over silver, with a monogram of Russian Tsar Nicholas II, surrounded by a halo of diamonds, with a crown situated above it over a Guilloché enameling background in shades of light blue. In addition, the box's lid is decorated with four double-headed eagles with a crown to their head (symbol of the empire), adorned with black enameling and are also set with diamonds over a Guilloché enameling background in a rich yellow shade. The rest of the box's body is also decorated with Guilloché enameling in different patterns and with artisanal handcrafted carving in a plantation pattern over the gold.  The box is well preserved and bears the 'Faberge' mark. Dimensions: 8.5X8.5 cm, height: 3 cm Total weight of diamonds: approximately 4 Carats. Total weight: 346 grams.
