A Rare Palestinian Shatweh Bridal Headdress, Bethlehem, 19th Century - Embroidered in silk threads in vivid shades with a geometric floral design. The front set with two rows of gold coins and two further rows of silver coins, beneath which an additional central gold coin (c. 13 gold coins in total). Completed with strands of coral forming a geometric pattern and a further row of coins.
