Four Islamic Aftabeh Ewers, Late 19th Early 20th Century - 1. A brass ewer engraved with Arabic calligraphy and geometric motifs, featuring a central motif of a deer. Dimensions: 37 x 26 cm 2. A large copper ewer, repoussé and chased with dense floral sprays, the lid surmounted by an acorn-shaped finial. Dimensions: 29 x 23 cm 3. A tinned copper ewer decorated with floral motifs, the center engraved with the tughra seal of the Ottoman sultan. Dimensions: 45 × 20 cm 4. A painted metal ewer in a terracotta hue, the handle terminating in the form of a duck; lid possibly replaced.
