A Fine Ottoman Jade gemed and Parcel-Gilt Silver Kard Dagger, 18th Century - The polished jade hilt is set with a forged Damascus steel blade, finely decorated in koftgari technique with floral motifs and inscriptions in Kufic script. The silver scabbard is embossed with foliage and inlaid with polished rubies or reddish tourmalines. Both the artist’s signature and the imperial tugra are engraved on the scabbard.
