A Brass and Garnet Inlay Ibrik, India, 19th Century - Raised on a rounded base, the globular body is decorated with engraved scrolling foliage and inset garnets forming floral motifs, surmounted by a wide, tapering neck with spout and a curved handle sculpted at both ends. The hinged lid is cast, pierced, and crowned with a sculpted brass duck. Well preserved for its age.
