By descent to the grandfather of the present owner. Notes: Mrs. Van der Wielden was a Jewish and British born widow of a wealthy Dutch businessman and a personal acquaintance of Ludwig Blum. She was an educated woman with feminist views and appreciation for art. During the 1920's she immigrated to Palestine where she became associated with the Tel Aviv bohemian circles.
