A Large Chinese Export Silver and Organic Material Wine Pitcher, China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) - Raised on a tiered octagonal base and the body of octagonal form with the spout embossed with grapevines. Topped by a hinged lid with a cylindrical organic material handle clad with pieced silver sheet engraved with grapes. The handle similarly fashioned. Probably made for the European export market.
