A spectacular 21-22k gold filigree and faceted corundum necklace-Bukhara/ Central Asia-1900-1930 - set to lot #2 - The necklace is comprised of triangular, square and tear drop shaped filigree elements. The wire is thin and finely worked by hand. Attached to each triangular plaque is a red corundum beautifully faceted by hand and held in place by gold prongs. A chain on top terminates with a hook and and gold ring for securing. The necklace is cut, soldered, and wired. length: 42 cm weight: 52 grams
